The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects

Written by the Air Force captain who headed Project Blue Book from 1951-53 and coined the term 'UFO,' this was the first insider account of official U.S. government sighting investigations. Ruppelt argued the Air Force too readily dismissed cases that resisted easy explanation, while documenting the bureaucratic chaos of Projects Sign, Grudge, and Blue Book.
