David Grusch

David Grusch is a former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer who served 14 years in uniform, including deployments to Afghanistan, before working as a senior civilian representative within the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and later as the intelligence community's designated representative to the Pentagon's UAP Task Force and its successor, AARO. In June 2023, Grusch went public via journalist Ross Coulthart with sworn allegations that the U.S. government has operated a decades-long, congressionally unauthorized crash-retrieval and reverse-engineering program involving non-human craft and biological remains, and filed a formal complaint through the Intelligence Community Inspector General's whistleblower channel, which found his complaint 'urgent and credible' enough to warrant referral to Congress — a procedural determination about the complaint's handling that supporters cite as validation and critics note does not itself confirm the underlying claims. He testified under oath before the House Oversight Committee in July 2023, marking the most prominent congressional UAP hearing in decades. Grusch has since joined the Sol Foundation as chief operating officer and, from 2025, advised Rep. Eric Burlison's congressional staff on UAP oversight, continuing to allege that billions of dollars in classified 'slush fund' spending have been hidden from congressional appropriators. As of 2026 no independently verified physical evidence corroborating his central crash-retrieval claims had been made public.
