Communion: A True Story

Horror novelist Strieber recounted his own December 1985 encounter at an upstate New York cabin — waking paralyzed to a small dark figure in his room — and the hypnotherapy sessions (conducted with Budd Hopkins) that surfaced further memories. Its stark cover painting of a wide-eyed Grey face became the single most recognizable image in UFO culture.
