Physical description
Beings reported as crosses between Greys and humans: near-human faces with oversized dark eyes, thin hair, frail bodies. Appear almost exclusively inside abduction narratives — presented to abductees as 'their' children in nursery scenes aboard craft.
Skeptical reading
The hybrid program is the clearest example of investigator-driven narrative: it appears overwhelmingly in hypnosis sessions run by researchers who already believed in it. Critics (including former collaborators) documented leading questioning. Psychologically the nursery scenes map onto reproductive anxiety; culturally they descend from changeling folklore and the incubus tradition.
